Planning on your next trip to Genting HighLands?

1) i read your blog about your trip to genting highlands. Could you kindly advice me how much you spend for the whole trip? On top of that where could i book the coach and everything? I plan to go in Dec. A surprise for my hubby!

Ans: I am describing for two people and not a gambler :) We actually took the package with StarCruise. We sailed from SG to Port Klang. Port Klang to Genting by Coach. Returned by Coach from Genting to SG. We paid for each person roughly S$350+ for the package. The coach and hotel stay has been arranged by StarCruise. On top of that, for meals we reserved S$150, entertainment (theme parks, gamble for fun) S$150 and $S100 for sourveneirs. Altogether about $S750. Convert to ringgit is 750*2.3783= 1783.7 MYR

Alternatively you can book with tour operators like 5 star tours, more info at http://www.fivestarsonline.com/. I have attached a current tour they have 2D 1N to Genting for example. Another reliable operator will be Grassland Express as advertised on TV, more info at http://www.grassland.com.sg/

2) Wonder if its a rainy season in Malaysia if i were to travel in Dec?

Ans: I believe Dec will be the rainy season for Genting Highlands. When I was there in Jan 07, we experienced rain for two days we were there.
